The first i-worx day in the new year

The first i-worx day in 2023 is on 11.03. went over the i-pointing stage. The new CEO, 63 employees, informative workshops on PowerPoint (what else???) and lots of delicious food were just some of the highlights of this team building day. In our article, you can find out how we the day in our Munich office and what valuable information and insights we gained. we have taken away from it.

An i-worx day Tradition is the drawing of a number immediately after arriving in the morning. This means that the groups for the workshops have already been decided. After getting acquainted with colleagues from the home office, if you have never met them in person, there was of course the obligatory morning coffee or tea and delicacies from the in-house bakery of our employees. The excitement was great, especially among the remote employees, because they were to support the new i-pointing CEO, Markus Pfaffin person for the first time.
 
The workshop topics of this i-worx day were Digital accessibility, tips & tricks for PowerPoint, motion design for PowerPoint and Pimp my Slide.
 
The topic We initiated the digital accessibility project a year ago. This is a matter close to our hearts at i-pointing and we therefore wanted to make our employees even more aware of this. With meaningful PowerPoint examples that demonstrate the importance of digital accessibility. explained, the Team members themselves worked out which elements are not barrier-free and where the topic has already been implemented in an exemplary manner.
 
The next workshop station was Motion Design in PowerPoint. Many interesting and impressive ways of using motion design for presentations in PowerPoint were presented. can be used. A refreshment for in between

Then at lunchtime Half-time and hungry stomachs were amply filled. With gigantic filled pretzels the break was heralded. There was something for everyone, for both the meat eaters and the vegetarians among those present. We chatted a lot, discussed professional and private matters and enjoyed each other's company. After all, many of our colleagues only work from home and so it is always A pleasure to see each other face to face again.

After the delicious pretzel feast, the tour continued.

The topic of the next workshop was Tips & tricks in PowerPoint presentations. The focus was particularly on the new designers and the tips from the old hands for a successful and efficient workflow. The topics were, among others, the Compressing images and videos using useful shortcuts, administrative aspects of project planning and much more.

Finally we went to the Topic Pimp my Slide. In this workshop, role-plays took place that simulated conversations between customers and designers should. Here too Senior designers shared their know-how with the newcomers and gave them valuable tips on briefing customers. given to us. Q & A with Markus & Marion

As we have already announced on LinkedIn, our CEO Marion Koppitz has decided to hand over the reins. She then (literally) handed over the reins to her successor Markus Pfaff. Markus and Marion answered our questions about the CEO change in front of the entire team. It was about Questions such as "What's next?", "What direction is i-pointing heading in?" and "What are the new CEO's long-term plans?"
