i-join day – This was our team event!

Almost 1.5 weeks ago our i-join day took place on 25.06.2022! Each of our more than 50 colleagues, whether in the office or remotely (i.e. in the permanent home office), was cordially invited to spend a day with the team in Lenggries.

This is how we started the day.

Our team event had a great selection of activities to offer: conquering the Isar during rafting or swinging the brush during action painting in the painting studio!
If you like, you could only hook up for lunch or do an activity twice – so everyone could do what they enjoy! Since we had a lively number of 35 participants, the day was organized so that there were two groups – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. These alternated in the respective activities and were divided into two boats or painting groups!

The rafting began with a safety instruction, because of course this is also part of Fun! After that, our employees were allowed to throw themselves in wetsuits and life jackets. With a helmet on his head and a paddle in his hand, he went to the boats to carry them to the Isar. And the wild ride began!!

Visibly happy, but also somewhat exhausted, our rafting kits came from the Vomittag to our meeting point for lunch together, where the artist group was already waiting from the morning.

These were allowed to divide into the two groups "Extrovert" or "Introvert" during action painting. Then they had all the possibilities to implement these themes with the provided acrylic paints, brushes and spatulas on the respective canvas.
The result is unique works of art that definitely offer a lot of room for interpretation!

Joint lunch break

The joint lunch was celebrated at 26 degrees in the sun. A typical Bavarian breadtime was offered with everything that belongs to it – Obadzda and Brezn were of course also there!
So our colleagues could talk in peace, enjoy the delicious food and the wonderful weather and exchange about the activities! It is deliberately placed great importance that there is enough time for personal conversations, as a team event offers a framework for this!
Because at a company like i‑pointing, where many employees also work remotely or in the partial home office, you get to know each other (closer) especially at these events. And of course this should also be used gladly!

After the bread time, the two groups then exchanged the locations. For some it went to the Isar, while the others made their way to the painting studio.

While rafting in the blazing sun was fought through the waves, the painters could make themselves comfortable in the studio. There, again, two topics were given, according to which the persons should be divided. “Office” and “Home Office” were given this time. Again, it was said: find groups, think concept, draw with pencil and then hit the colors! By the way, the total of 4 works of art of our i-join day will beautify our office.

In the evening, they met again for dinner. Since two of our bosses had their birthday a few days before, the moment was used for the gifts! In addition, the fantastic mountain scenery was excellent for a group picture.

With refreshing drinks and a delicious grill buffet, the day was rounded off. Finally, there was a delicious Kaiserschmarrn!

Our conclusion? It was a mega funny day with cool activities! The weather was great and you could get to know the colleagues again in a different way! In addition, both action painting and rafting were based on teamwork – and that worked great. Schee wars!
